Unpacking Princeton

Unpacking Princeton is a collaborative program designed to engage incoming undergraduate and graduate students of underrepresented identities to acclimate to the Princeton community. These programs are open to all Princeton University students regardless of identity.

Unpacking Princeton 2025 is brought to you by the Carl A. Fields Center in collaboration with: AccessAbility Center, Asian American Students Association (AASA), Black Student Union (BSU), Center for Career Development, Emma Bloomberg Center for Access & Opportunity (EBCAO), Gender + Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC), Generational African American Students Association (GAASA), Office of Disability Services, Office of International Programs (OIP), Princeton African Students Association (PASA), Princeton Latin American Student Association (PLASA), and the South Asian Students Association (SASA).

Fields Day at the Fields Center

R&B Lounge Night

Princeton’s Generational African American Student Association invites incoming first-years to an R&B Lounge Night, designed to welcome new students into a warm and tight-knit community while being an alternate way for underclassmen to connect them with upperclassmen outside of parties. The evening will feature a relaxed lounge ambiance with cozy seating, food, and R&B playing in the background, alongside interactive activities like karaoke, spades and card games, and plenty of space to mingle and build lasting connections.
