about the Fields Center FELLOWS

Mission of the Program

The DEIRJ Fields Fellows are trained by professional facilitators to serve as peer leaders who educate and advocate for the Princeton community in relation to diversity, equity, belonging, inclusion, and social justice through peer-facilitated workshops, training, consultation, one to one support, dialogues, as well as serving as informal support for students who experience discrimination and bias. In centering student well-being and belonging, our offerings are largely rooted and grounded in Restorative Justice and Restorative Practices. We work to offer peer to peer based Restorative Practice support for students to unlearn harmful behaviors, learn healthy ways to engage in leadership and discourse, learn restorative conversation skills, community care, and have active understanding and agency about their own role as participants in our community to foster and develop well-being.

This educational experience is open to all Princeton University undergraduate students regardless of identity.
