One of Princeton’s unsung heroes, John E. Favors ‘72 was an early Black student leader who co-founded the Third World Center (now known as the Carl A. Fields Center). After graduating, he went on to become one of the world’s first African American Hindu gurus, known as H.H. Bhakti Tirtha Swami.

Join special guest Grammy-nominated kirtan artist, singer, and author Acyuta Gopi for a celebration of his life and legacy through sacred music, poetry, and spoken word.
