An event facilitating conversations about identity in the context of Black History Month, especially in regards to womanhood. Via collages, poems, and other artistic expressions, Our Health Matters will commemorate and honor Black women who have been victims of mistreatment in the American health system, while basking in their own experiences within this system. This event serves to ground the frequent celebrations of accomplishments in Black History Month with the realities of the Black experience.
Sponsored by Our Health Matters , P-Boards, and the Carl A. Fields Center for Equality + Cultural Understanding
